Patients whose daily routine would be excessively restricted by a CAPD application can also be treated by automatic peritoneal dialysis (APD) that manufactured by lafaf khazar.
With this method too, peritoneal dialysis is carried out by patients themselves at home, in this case however using an automatic overnight process with the help of a machine (cycler).

This nightly dialysis takes place seven times a week. The blood purification process is the same as with CAPD application. The cycler is adjusted in a dialysis center to the special needs of the patients, so that the duration, number of changes and required volume of dialysis fluid can be determined.

 

 

The cycler is equipped with the solution bags before the patient goes to sleep. The automatic changes of the dialysis fluid took place during sleep. The tubes are long enough to give the patient a certain amount of freedom of movement at night. The machine works very quietly, so that sleep is not disturbed by noise. At the end, fresh dialysis solution is fed into the abdominal cavity and remains there for the day until the next evening.
